In Memoriam

Karen Marie Davis Livesay

KAREN MARIE DAVIS LIVESAY, age 48, a loving wife and mother, went to meet our Lord on Monday, October 27, 2008, after a long battle with leukemia. She was born November 18, 1959, in San Antonio, Texas, to Harry and Darlene Davis. Karen attended the University of Houston. She married the love of her life, Mark Livesay, in 1984, and together that same year, started Regency Plumbing, where over the years she worked alongside her husband while raising their four beautiful children. Karen was an active member of St. Laurence Catholic Church and a supporter for the Foundation for Life. She loved spending time with her family and friends at home, at the family lake house, and at the ranch. Karen was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. She is survived by her husband of twenty-four years, Mark; children, Kevin, Renee, John, and Holly; parents, Harry and Darlene Davis; brothers, Harry Davis and Dale Davis; sisters, Diane Gray, Patricia Mitchell, and Brenda Allen; eight nieces and nephews; and numerous other loving relatives and friends. The family wishes to express their deep gratitude to Dr. George Carrum and his staff at the Methodist Hospital Cell and Gene Therapy Center. Visitation: Thursday, October 30, 2008, 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM, St. Laurence Catholic Church, 3100 Sweetwater Blvd., Sugar Land, with a Vigil Service and Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial: Friday, October 31, 2008, 10:00 AM, St. Laurence Catholic Church, with the Rev. Drew Wood and the Rev. Roy J. Oggero, Co-Celebrants. For those desiring, memorials may be made to the Foundation for Life at www.lifeadvocates.org, or to the Leukemia Society at www.leukemia-lymphoma.org.
